It's after midnight, so you'll forgive the very brief update, I'm sure. Thomas came home this evening "on leave". He's doing really well. He'll be back in tomorrow (Wednesday) night for his MRI on Thursday. He has to go in in advance because he's not allowed to eat or drink after midnight prior to the MRI. This is problematic because of the sodium issues, so they want to monitor him during that time.

No definitive word on a cause for the seizure. They've given him medication which he'll continue for 6 months, after which they'll reassess the situation.

Well, not so very brief after all.
